The Clery Act, as amended by the 2013 Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, requires that investigators and hearing board members receive annual training on the issues related to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and taught how to conduct an investigation and hearing process that protects the safety of the victim and promotes accountability.
